Counting birds, butterflies and insects

In 2026, we will organise sessions for children and their parents to come and count birds, butterflies and insects.

We will be using the following resources:

Bird count leaflet from RSPC (see short version, full version).
Butterfly count leaflet from Butterfly Conservation (see leaflet).
Insect count leaflet from National Biodiversity Data Centre (see short version, full version)

7th March. Bird and insect count. Meet at the gate at 11:00am.

Please note that parents must bring their children at their own risk and parents must supervise their own children.
