Everyone on the allotment site is welcome to just visit the Nature Site and walk round or sit and watch.

We also welcome volunteers to help look after and develop the site.  So if you would like to do more to support nature then why not join us in our work.  You don't need to be a member of the allotments - we can arrange to meet you at the main gate to let you in for a work session.

 

We are flexible: we arrange ad hoc larger group sessions usually on a Saturday morning and we work alone or with one or two others when it suits us. You don't need any particular skills; anyone can play a part.

We don't just work!  We also take time to just look around and see what species we can identify and record. We also carry out timed insect counts. You don't need to be an expert!
